WHAT IS SUPREME WASH

Sgreen® Supreme Wash is a California-certified cleaner for cleaning ink off screens. It’s tough enough to clean plastisol but gentle on the environment and on printers. Supreme wash evaporates quickly and requires minimal help with cleanup. Simply spray it onto a screen and wipe it with a rag.

WHEN TO USE SUPREME WASH

Supreme Wash serves multiple purposes when printing with plastisol ink. It’s an on-press cleaner and a screen opener for plastisol inks. The best time to use Supreme Wash is when performing color changes or cleaning up after a job.

What about water-based ink? Supreme Wash is formulated for plastisol ink. It’s not water miscible, meaning it won't bond with water-based inks to clean them. For water-based jobs, use Aqua Wash instead.

HOW TO USE SUPREME WASH

Using Supreme Wash is simple. Here’s a short walkthrough.

  1. Spray or pour a small amount onto the screen.
  2. Grab a shop towel or rag of your choice. Scrub both sides of the screen, re-applying Supreme Wash as needed until the screen is clean.
  3. If re-taping the screen is needed, and if the tape is not sticking, rub it with a dry absorbent product or wipe it with a damp shop towel. The water will rinse away Supreme Wash. Do this only if your emulsion is water-resistant. Otherwise, you can see the screen image breakdown or soften the image.
  4. If you plan on cataloging or reusing the screen, you can rinse both sides of the screen clean of any residue with pressured water. This will also help to remove more of the pigment that can become lodged in the knuckles of the mesh causing it to stain.

Now the screen is ready for reclaim or storage.
